Google Drive does have special software which can be installed on your computer. It is suitable for both Windows and Mac users. It will create a separate folder which will help you sync the files quickly. If you are wondering where to find this software, all you need to do is log in to your Google Drive and open up the homepage. You will notice Get Drive for PC button in the lower part of the menu.

You will be asked to select between Windows and Mac versions. Once you install the software, there will be a new folder in your files and taskbar. Mac users will find the Google Drive folder in their Applications. 4.      Uploading and downloading

If you don’t want to install Google Drive software, you can still use this service through your web browser. Uploading your files through the web app is still easy and you can do it in two different ways. Your first option would be to drag and drop the file into your Google Drive tab. The second option is to click on New in your Google Drive homepage. Then click on File upload or Folder upload.

Downloading a file from your Google Drive works in a similar way. You can either right-click the file you want to save and click on Download, or find three vertical dots, click on the icon, and select the same option.

5.      Viewing your files offline

Google Drive allows you to view the saved files even if you are offline which is great for people who are always on the move and might not have access to the internet. But you need to turn on this option by going to Settings. Find Offline section and tick the box. This will sync up all the files from your Google Drive to the device you are using at the moment.
